-4 tbsp butter
-4 to 5 cloves garlic, chopped
-32 oz vegetable broth
-1.5 cups ditalini
-juice and zest of one lemon
-1 tsp turmeric
-salt and pepper
-1/2 cup parmesan plus more for serving
-optional: parsley or red pepper flakes for serving
- Melt butter in a large pot or dutch oven over medium high. Melt butter. Add garlic. Cook 2-3 min.
- Add some salt and pepper. Pour in broth. Add pasta.
- Add lemon juice and zest. Add turmeric.
- Bring to a boil. Cook 8-10 min until pasta is cooked al dente.
- Stir in parmesan.
