Homemade Spaghettio’s and Meatballs
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups frozen mini meatballs
- 2 cups anellini pasta
- optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium high heat, add butter. Add minced garlic. Add tomato paste. Stir to combine.
- Add italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook 4-5 min.
- Stir in tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Add pinch of red pepper flakes (if using).
- Add pasta and frozen meatballs. Cook 20-25 min or until pasta is al dente. Stir occasionally ensuring nothing is sticking to the bottom of your pot.
- Once cooked, turn off heat and pour in heavy cream.
- Serve with parmesan, basil, and parsley.
