Homemade Spaghettio’s and Meatballs

Ingredients  

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups frozen mini meatballs
  • 2 cups anellini pasta
  • optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  • In a large pot over medium high heat, add butter. Add minced garlic. Add tomato paste. Stir to combine.
  • Add italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook 4-5 min.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Add pinch of red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Add pasta and frozen meatballs. Cook 20-25 min or until pasta is al dente. Stir occasionally ensuring nothing is sticking to the bottom of your pot.
  • Once cooked, turn off heat and pour in heavy cream.
  • Serve with parmesan, basil, and parsley.
