Heat pan over medium high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil. Add sweet onion. Cook 2-3 minutes.
Add ginger, garlic, and ground beef. Cook until brown. Drain excess oil.
Cook ramen according to package instructions. Do not add seasoning packet. Drain when finished cooking.
To ground beef, add soy sauce, honey, butter, chili garlic sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Cook 4-5 minutes.
Add in noodles. Combine all ingredients (I find it is easiest to use tongs).
Optional: if using mushrooms, add to skillet when adding sauces.
